Since launching TL-180, designers Luisa Orsini and Antonine (Tine) Peduzzi have won over well-heeled women the world round (think: Léa Seydoux, Emma Watson) with their effortless-yet-eclectic bags and lurex knitwear. “These two are the chicest of them all," says Gucci, who met up with the co-founders and close friends on a recent trip to Rome, where the brand's atelier is located.

Ciao!” say Luisa and Tine, both dressed in vintage leopard and TL-180 — a bright orange carryall in Luisa’s case, and a chocolate crocodile-embossed tote for Tine —at the door of The Beautyaholic’s Shop. The duo often stocks up on makeup and skincare staples at the cultish apothecary, located a short walk from the Spanish Steps.

When it comes to makeup, “I like to be very natural, always,” Luisa says, as Gucci quickly evens out her skin tone using Vital Skin foundation, then sweeps on Beauty Butter Bronzer and a hint of earthy espresso shadow at the lash lines. On the other hand, Tine—who, at the age of 17, traded her native Paris for the Eternal City—maintains her Gallic penchant for a lived-in red lip. "I like to use a finger to tap, tap, tap like this," she says with a little patting motion. Gucci's recommendation: Dipping into the lush Bordeaux shades of the Lip Suede Les Rouges compact, before blending a little of the excess onto cheekbones.

The verdict? “Bellissima!
