"This formula is so unique because it’s created with delicate translucent multidimensional pearls that reflect the light and let your real skin show through," says Gucci explaining that, unlike traditional radiance boosters, there's no actual pigment in the base. The result is a product that gives skin "the most extraordinary natural glow" without ever looking like makeup. "You can use it all over on bare skin, under or over foundation, and even as a targeted highlight wherever you want to catch the light," says Gucci. "What I love about it is that it's so unbelievably versatile."
Each of the three Liquid Super Loaded shades infuse skin with a nourishing blend of Vitamin C, Tsubaki Oil, and Avocado Oil to retexturize, even tone, and brighten skin over time. As for which shade to choose, says Gucci, you truly can't go wrong.
There's Peau de Rosé, a cool oyster pink, that subtly brightens and lifts when used all over—or simply tapped under eyes and onto cheekbones; Peau de Pêche, a warm nudey peach with a subtle corrective quality that smooths and evens tone. And then there's Peau de Soleil, a golden hour bronze that's meant to conjure the warm sun-kissed glow at the end of a farflung beach vacation. Gucci uses this shade to define or add warmth, but applies it a little differently, blending it onto the apples of the cheeks, center of the forehead, and a bit on the bridge of the nose.
If those shade names sound familiar, it's because they are loosely inspired by our original Super Loaded Tinted Highlight. But while the best-selling compact formula delivers targeted polish and more concentrated pigment levels, Liquid Super Loaded is all about a subtle and delicate all-over complexion payoff. "Think of them as cousins, not twins," she says.
