There's something about a wash of molten metallic pigment on the eyes that suddenly feels right in the sunshine. This week, as an alternative to a classic copper or burnished bronze palette, Gucci has been playing around with the subtle skin-brightening glow of a decorative rose-gold lid. That is, with a twist.
Anchoring the look around layers of Peau de Rosé, the newest creamy shade of Super Loaded, she dials up the finish with a reflective layer of Lit Up on top. The translucent skin-illuminating gel creates a lived-in look that's "glassy and almost wet," says Gucci, but it stays light years more wearable (and less messy) than a traditional eye gloss or on-set editorial staple like Elizabeth Arden 8-Hour Cream.
