DIY Cooling Cucumber Eye Masks
Slightly adapted from Home Baked Bliss. Depending on how many eye masks are desired, the ingredient count can be revised.
-
18 organic round cotton pads (Gucci uses unbleached to compost)
-
1/2 organic cucumber (sliced)
-
2 tablespoons aloe vera gel
-
15 drops vitamin E oil
-
Blender of choice
Cut the cotton pad rounds in half to fit the under eye area.
Slice up half of a cucumber (leaving on the skin).
Blend the cucumber slices, aloe vera gel, and vitamin E oil.
Soak the cotton pads in the mixture and squeeze out excess.
Place the "masks" in freezer for 10-20 minutes.
Let them thaw before use and apply underneath the eye's lower lashline.
Relax for 10-15 minutes with the eye masks on and enjoy the cooling effect!
