Q: How do I Cover Dark Under Eye Circles?

Fresh off a plane to Paris, our fearless (and jet-lagged!) founder has today's "Ask Gucci" question top of mind: "How do I cover dark undereye circles?" she says while sitting for a quick wake up espresso at one of the city's outdoor cafés.  According to Gucci, the most important trick for second skin camouflage can be somewhat counterintuitive: A lighter shade of concealer or foundation doesn't actually cancel out darkness—in fact, it leaves skin with a grayish cast or a possible reverse raccoon situation.

Instead, "I really like using a foundation that's slightly deeper than the rest of the skin," she explains of blending a subtly warmer tone of Vital Skin together with her usual everyday shade. It's an incremental tweak that packs serious payoff. But the real pro artist's trick? That has everything to do with the placement of your blush or bronzer.
