Leilani Bishop may have appeared on the cover of Hole's 1994 album Live Through This with baby blue eyeshadow and mascara streaming down her face, but the former model—whose all-American good looks have featured in campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger, Balenciaga, and Victoria's Secret— prefers a decidedly clean aesthetic.  In 2016, fueled by a passion for equally pure ingredients, Bishop co-founded Botanica Bazaar, the now wildly popular holistic apothecary in Amagansett, New York, which stocks brain-boosting ingestibles, mineral sunscreens, super-hydrating face creams, herbal-infused oils, and more.

Today, Gucci sits down with Leilani—and a handful of Westman Atelier's own plant-based makeup heroes and sustainably-made brushes—for a summer-to-fall makeup lesson. "I'm not going to overwhelm you because I love your freckles," Gucci explains, while prepping Leilani's complexion with Vital Skincare Complexion Drops, a new face serum-and-skin tint that boosts radiance and hydration while improving texture and tone.

A sheer wash of Beauty Butter Bronzer (on the forehead, apples, and lightly beneath the eyes) and a glassy, bronze-gold hint of Lit Up Highlight (high on the cheekbones) infuse skin with light-catching warmth. But the final touch comes courtesy of a sheer chocolate eye, followed by a bolt of bordeaux red lipstick. "Let's go wild!" Leilani laughs, as Gucci reaches for the Les Rouges compact. While a single layer of a Tomato suffices for summer, an extra pop of the palette's deep Brick shade at the center of the mouth takes the look into fall.

Here, watch Leilani's effortless fall makeup transformation—and then check out the Botanica Bazaar clean skincare, supplements, and wellness staples behind her 'good-from-the-inside-out' natural glow.
