"This is great for busy people—busy moms!" Chriselle Lim beams after putting together a makeup look worthy of a cameo in a TikTok she's filming later. As a breakout phenomenon in the digital fashion world, Lim commands an awe-inspiring following of over 3 million followers across her social platforms—and she’s got an uncanny knack for recognizing the next big thing.

Her latest lightbulb moment came while juggling a whirlwind schedule of filmings—she's spoken with guests from Dr. Anthony Fauci to anti-cyberbullying advocate Gitanjali Rao—while being a mother to her two daughters Chloe and Colette. Named after the Korean word for ‘parent’ in a nod to her Korean heritage, Bümo was co-founded in 2019 as a multi-faceted company that brings community, educational learning, and a new kind of on-site childcare to modern-day families. "I needed a place where I could plug in with my child and have lunch with her in between. Because I couldn't find it, I decided to build my own," says Lim of the first co-working space that opened in Los Angeles earlier this year. A refreshingly candid podcast,  Being Bümo, followed, which has allowed Lim to tackle complex parenting topics (think breastfeeding and teaching kids about diversity and inclusion) with an impressive roster of guest experts in an honest, engaging, and relatable way.

Without skipping a beat, the fashion star just whizzed through the fashion month marathon of runway shows and parties. Today, she spills to Gucci how she does it all while maintaining her megawatt, glowy skin. "I started drinking 100 oz of water a day," Lim shares holding up an enormous and imminently wantable pink water bottle, "And my skin shows the difference. I wake up looking like I already have moisturizer on!"

To amp up that radiance further, Gucci suggests they play around her three-step “clean glow’ method, which functions as an easy ‘contour, highlight, blush’ makeup stick wardrobe for a dewy, healthy-looking skin. After settling on Face Trace Contour in Biscuit, Lit Up Highlight in Lit, and Baby Cheeks Blush in Chouchette, Lim swipes on Pipsqueak for a daytime sheer red lip tint. But the real makeup ‘closer’ is a sartorially-minded dash of earthy green eyeshadow in Bonne Chance. "It really goes with the khaki theme," laughs Lim ready to take on her day.
