Made in collaboration with Linnea Lund, the Paris-based cashmere house that sustainably sources its pristine textiles, she’s put her spin on her favorite cold weather accessories for holiday: “Perfect socks and perfect beanies!”
“I’ve always loved the Swedish idea of ‘mys,’ which is creating joy and coziness through everyday moments,” says Gucci, who, like Linnea Lund founder Charlotte Björklund, grew up in the Scandinavian country. Together, they whipped up a plush cashmere hat with just enough length in the back for a stylish tuck—and a versatile color palette. “Recognize this guy?” she says, holding up a bright red beanie inspired by the cheerful tomato shade that’s a Westman Atelier signature; for those who love a good neutral, there’s an oatmeal variation, too.
As for designing that perfect sock, “it had to be cozy but not too thick—I wanted it to slip effortlessly into any shoe!” The ‘just-right’ prototype that made the cut hits at mid-calf, and comes in oatmeal, tomato red, and cool pink. “And look how cute our Westman Atelier heart is!” she adds, pointing to the subtle red logo detail threading. “Plus, they’re machine washable, how great is that?”
